  7. antelopian said: @luceetheelephant don’t presume to know what I’m thinking mate, I know it’s specific countries forcing it onto women. however, it’s literally Islamic Law applied to government. in no Christian countries are women forced to be nuns by law. the ability for some Muslims to choose is based on whether the country itself uses Islamic law as it’s governing law. to suggest anything else is dishonest. you can’t say “it’s the culture” when it’s literally religious laws.
